The course is delivered by flexible learning, consisting of

  • six skills development workshops, focusing on the application of learning
  • a comprehensive pack of learning materials, including MOL’s Management Series workbooks
  • tutor support via email, telephone, fax, face-to-face and through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
  • peer support through networking with fellow learners to share experience and expertise within a learning community

How long does the Professional Diploma in Management Studies course last?

Approximately 15 months

How will I be assessed?

You will need to complete

  • five business reports, showing that you have met the learning criteria
  • one business project, focusing on the application of your knowledge and skills in a business environment
  • one personal development plan, which shows how you have developed as a person and as a manager during the course
  • our Management Series workbooks
  • a Programme Folder
  • all of the workshops (including lunch and refreshments)
  • tutor support throughout the course
  • access to our VLE
  • registration with Edexcel BTEC
  • an Edexcel BTEC certificate
  • a MOL certificate
  • an Edexcel BTEC certificate for fast-track membership of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
