Why choose the Professional Diploma in Management Studies course?
The PDMS is a level 5 professional management qualification, offered through the Edexcel BTEC awarding body.
The programme is designed to meet national standards for management in the UK and is internationally recognised.
The PDMS is suited to managers with a number of years of experience, who are seeking to consolidate their management and leadership skills and knowledge, or to establish a strong foundation for further career development.

The course is delivered by flexible learning, consisting of

- six skills development workshops, focusing on the application of learning
- a comprehensive pack of learning materials, including MOL’s Management Series workbooks
- tutor support via email, telephone, fax, face-to-face and through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
- peer support through networking with fellow learners to share experience and expertise within a learning community

How long does the Professional Diploma in Management Studies course last?
Approximately 15 months
How will I be assessed?
You will need to complete
- five business reports, showing that you have met the learning criteria
- one business project, focusing on the application of your knowledge and skills in a business environment
- one personal development plan, which shows how you have developed as a person and as a manager during the course
- our Management Series workbooks
- a Programme Folder
- all of the workshops (including lunch and refreshments)
- tutor support throughout the course
- access to our VLE
- registration with Edexcel BTEC
- an Edexcel BTEC certificate
- a MOL certificate
- an Edexcel BTEC certificate for fast-track membership of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
