Management

We provide a range of fully accredited qualifications for managers at all stages of their career. This includes qualifications for team leaders/supervisors (at level 2), first line managers (at level 3), middle or more experienced managers (at level 5) and executive and strategic managers (at level 7).

The qualifications we provide are available from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and Edexcel BTEC.

Some of our programmes are ‘fully taught’ (at levels 2 and 3). Higher level programmes are made up of a flexible solution consisting of workshops, directed self-study and one-on-one tutorials.

Why study by flexible learning?

Flexible learning (also referred to as blended learning) is based on a highly successful and interactive approach that enables learners to fit studying into their other commitments at work and outside work. Our approach includes a blend of

• support and direction from tutors who have practical experience of senior level management. Tutors can be contacted by telephone and email, as well as at workshops
• practical workshops, where learners work together to put the theory into practice
• peer support provided through networking with fellow students to share expertise and experience
• assessment methods that enable learners to apply their learning to real-life scenarios, often including business projects that are related to their organisation

We can design a flexible learning timetable around the needs of an organisation, to minimise the time that learners are away from their workplace and to take account of a business’s busiest times.
