Electrical Engineering

MOL is the largest nationwide provider of engineering programmes by flexible learning. MOL provides a range of courses that lead to nationally recognised engineering qualifications from the City and Guilds of London Institute (link to www.cityandguilds.com) (CGLI) and Edexcel (link to www.edexcel.org.uk). Courses are supported by our team of tutors who have a combined experience of many years gained in a wide variety of engineering industries.

Why flexible learning?

Flexible learning (often referred to as blended learning) is based on a highly successful and interactive approach that includes

• learning materials that are interactive and highly practical, and are provided in the most suitable media for the learning required
• tutorials that put the theory into practice, led by tutors with extensive practical experience. We provide all the equipment and planned experiments to support your studies
• telephone and email support from tutors between tutorials. We take a proactive approach and will contact you by phone to give you an opportunity to chat about the concepts you are studying and any problems. Tutorial support is available during office hours, with also the option for our tutors to ring you by arrangement in the evenings
• working with a group of students who are at the same stage in their studies (where possible). We encourage group members to keep in contact for mutual encouragement and informal support meetings
