Construction and Electrical Product Knowledge Training

Builders' merchants and electrical wholesalers’ goal is to offer their customers a consistently high quality of service. MOL’s Construction Product Knowledge Training will equip you with the skills and knowledge to achieve this.
This programme leads to a nationally recognized qualification accredited by City & Guilds and offers the student the flexibility of studying wherever they choose and at any time of the day.
The course offers a qualification at both Foundation and Certificate levels, or individual modules can be studied without completing the full programme.

Programme

There are 45 modules available in the City & Guilds Product Knowledge programme.

Which modules you choose to study and the type of certificate you receive will depend on:

• your specific areas of interest
• which programme you choose to follow

A General Certificate will be issued when you successfully complete and passfive modules selected from the 45 available.

The Foundation Certificate will be issued when you successfully complete and pass:

• heavy side materials
• light side materials
• commercial practice

• Students can choose to study a single modlue or as many as they want.
• This is a distance learning programme, which means the students can study at home or work, at any time of the day.
• No previous qualifications are required. The programme is relevant for staff of any age or experience.
