CIPD Professional Development Scheme (PDS)
For people who wish to develop their management career in personnel and development, the PDS is a programme based on the CIPD's Professional Standards. It is divided into four ‘fields'. This section includes more information about the PDS and each of these four fields.
CIPD Professional Assessment of Competence (PAC)
For senior HR professionals with at least five years' experience and three years' HR experience, an alternative route to CIPD membership is to have your skills and experience assessed against the CIPD's Professional Standards.
