Possible exemption from the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma HRM/HRD?

Should you have a postgraduate qualification in HR or a related business subject you may be eligible for exemption to part of the Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HRM/HRD (up to 50% only). Ideally, if this is the case, you should seek confirmation prior to commencement on programme.

Exemption applications need to be made directly to the CIPD as they are assessed by a CIPD-appointed quality assurance representative, which is discussed close to the point of enquiry. Those who feel they may be eligible for exemption, should contact CIPD directly requesting an exemption application pack via the CIPD Customer Services Team on 0208 612 6200.

Exemption requests will need to be accompanied by:

• Completed CIPD Application for a requested exemption
• a full qualification specification/syllabus including module descriptors and learning outcomes
• a copy of the qualification certificate and accompanying transcript
• a completed learning outcome mapping matrix to identify where the qualification achievement(s) meet the relevant CIPD learning outcomes for the qualification unit/module that exemption is sought
• appropriate assessment fee (non-refundable)
