Advanced Professional Diploma (APD) in Employment Law

MOL's APD in Employment Law is run in partnership with Eversheds law practice, Europe's largest provider of employment law training. The course is designed to provide you with a wide perspective of individual and collective employment law, including international comparisons. The aim is to enable you to move beyond thinking in terms of legal compliance towards a proactive role in writing and operating policies and procedures, as well as anticipating and preparing for changes in legislation.

The awarding body for this Masters level Advanced Professional Diploma is BTEC Edexcel.

You will have the skills, knowledge and confidence to take on increased responsibility within your organisation, and to progress your career within HR management.
An opportunity for further study is the CIPD Professional Development Scheme (PDS). The APD in Employment Law covers the information required for the Employment Law ‘Specialist Elective', which is part of the PDS. Completion of the CIPD PDS ultimately leads to Graduate membership of the CIPD.

What level of CIPD membership will I have?
The APD in Employment Law itself does not require or lead to CIPD membership, unless you progress to other modules of the CIPD PDS. Indirectly, the course can be part of a CIPD continuous professional development (CPD) record.

- self-study using MOL/Eversheds' workbooks
- tutor support via email, fax or telephone

You will need to attend all of the workshops and to complete
