Why study for CIPD qualifications?

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the professional body that represents people working in Human Resources Management (HRM) and Development (HRD) at all stages of their careers. The term human resources (HR) is commonly used to describe the wide range of jobs that fall into the HRM and HRD categories.

The CIPD has devised a range of qualifications and standards that relate to all levels of staff working in HR; and it has a membership structure that it is linked to the attainment of qualifications and high standards of work.
